Chili represents the essence of my home memories. The grid system incorporates shapes and a combination of Chinese and English typography to depict the spicy and hot essence of chilis, echoing warmth and coziness. The taste has stayed with me as I’ve moved from Sichuan to Beijing to Baltimore. The addition of latitude and longitude markers in each panel signifies my travel across the globe, carrying with me the memory of chilis.
